Untitled

What a summer it's been. And it's not even summer yet. First, a visit to the nicest patio in town, out at the Distillery district for pizza and beer.

Later in May, Levi got promoted. For some reason, middle school says promoted and not graduated. Anyway, here is the man, new shirt and one of his dad's ties.

Eva also got a new outfit for the occasion.

And we ate. Boy did we eat. Carson's after the ceremony, for the giant sandwiches. No pics there, but I did get some from a trip to Buffalo Wild Wings. Levi has newfound love for buffalo wings. Eva begrudgingly ate about 10 of her own. She's also up for the role of Joker in the new Batman movie.

And then in Bowling Green, Ohio, on our way up to Canada. Sausage sandwich at the BBQ joint!

I always take a picture of this sign, it's the last exit in Ohio on the way up, the first Ohio exit on the way back down. I text it to Alexis every time, so I figured I'd capture it here for the record.

At the waterfront house in Windsor with nana, a game of Uno.

Out by the water, relaxing time. It's weird to be in Canada and look north across the water at the United States.

The messiest ice cream in the world is at the park by the water in Tecumseh.

Meals outside every time. Some grocery store sushi.

Followed by Peloza-sized desserts from the European market.

Out comes the puzzle, finished after Janet stopped by.

The highlight of the trip, apart from seeing family, was badminton. So much badminton. Here are just a bunch of the random pictures I took over a couple days' worth of play.

Back in time for Alexis' birthday. This made her tear up.

Out at her favorite restaurant for dinner, vegan pizza. As close to feeling like dining in Europe as you can get anywhere in town. Foreshadowing of an upcoming trip.
