Slow Down

So this post comes from a hotel room in Tallahassee. Sitting, for the first time in I don't know, where I have multiple days of nothing in particular. No responsibility, no schedule, no dependents human or canine. Interesting.

In the days prior, I had one boy and two pups under my care. You can feel free to judge, since as part of that time I would get Levi an entire lemon cake and he'd have 1/3 of it before leaving the store!

Then, on our way down south we had a great trip through the U.S.A. Including some lessons in how to deal with traffic in, where else, Atlanta. It's a joy to watch Levi develop his intellect using the tech I never had when I was his age. And some down time to enjoy himself on said tech.

But let's not forget good old fashioned books, and activities that need a pencil/pen to complete. We have an old school experience, while dining like the swinging dudes we are. Sometimes when I see his face, like it appears in the thumbs-up photo, I am taken aback by how quickly he is maturing. I believe somewhere way back in the past I would have written that time with small kids doesn't fly by. It goes by very slowly, as you wait for toilet training, speech, etc. Now I am reminded again, time flies by. Please slow this ride down, I want to remember every moment.

Meanwhile, far off on the West Coast, Alexis proves she is the angel I always thought she was by flying over the coast of Southern California.
