Breaker Breaker.

The words one might hear when they are looking for someone over the airwaves. Readers in the know are perhaps wondering where Those Peloza Kids have been for over a week for the Spring Break. Come on back.

The blame can be partly placed on the decision to not take a computer to Canada. So the whole thing is posted in one go. Spoiler alert: We went to Canada.

We begin with some home time in Kentucky. A lunch out with the girls before a manicure.

As good as that is, food always tastes better at home. Especially if it comes in potato form.

Levi celebrates finishing something with butter on it (this is known as the butter king dance).

Fist stop: Nana. Who is fine and all, but a bike that doesn't move its wheels, but instead moves its handlebars? No way!

Levi takes less pleasure in working out, like his dad. And he prefers to watch TV rather than music with headphones.

Something more cerebral.

Back to the bike for Levi, while Eva does a make up tutorial in live form.

Hey cousins, make goofy faces.

Off to Chatham for more family time. Eva practices her skill with a tablet, but then crawls around with turtle, who is now named Percy (later to be named Percy Kearney Dercy).

Then off to the true Canada experience, the ski resort. Not so true, since there wasn't much snow outside of the ski hill. But there were remnants, along with some fresh snow that fell at various times over the days. Levi was so excited to have a snowball fight. Of all he could do in a winter wonderland, a snowball fight was all he needed. And he got more than one. The first snowball of the season below.

The snowballs kept coming. The act of throwing a snowball, however staged, makes for good multi-photo sets.

It wasn't all snow, there was an activity center which had various things including an XBox Kinect session. Eva opted for a game of pigs, and Levi eventually decided pigs was way cooler than XBox.

Levi takes his higher order thinking to everything, even pigs. Wait, a double jowler is worth what?

Back outside (in the pouring rain) for a horse-drawn ride through the sugar bush for some maple syrup. Inside where it's warm and they give away syrup on an ice block.

Coming home from the bush, belly full of syrup, perfect time for a nap.

Back inside for more board games. Eva does her shrek thing again, and not to be outdone Levi hams it up.

OK, back outside for some tubing. The ride up, Levi was a little scared but put on a brave face.

Immediately after we had our first ride down, Levi announced that his next ride would be a solo ride. Straight, no spin, but still...solo.

Then, to complete the day on the hill with the best boy, the snow started falling. Like a fantasy.

Here's part of the gang, taking a break after a hard run.

More inside fun. Two nerf gun fights, and plenty of gymnastics for the gals. Eva shows off her backbend, which Alexis can't quite do. But look what she can do. Levi isn't sure if what he is seeing is real or not. Yeah, I married her.

No matter what, when it comes to Twister, Eva is the champ.

Seriously, every time Levi went outside he couldn't want to throw some snowballs. And I couldn't wait to get a series of shots.

The best thing to do when leaving a great snowfest is to rip it off like a band aid. Just drive the 600 miles in one go. The kids were champs, but there were a couple naps along the way. Back in the balmy south, no snow but Levi still has his form during a game of impromptu dodgeball over at Amelia's.

Sunday is predictably lazy. Except for Malibu Jacks, some great Mario tourneys, and a fire. Here Eva celebrates the perfectly calibrated hit on the bonk machine to win 500 tickets. Tough girl.

For the fire, the highlight came well before a match was struck, collecting sticks from the back 40.

Cole did not help one bit.

There was four Italian sausages cooking on the outdoor grill! No wait, there were 3 old marshmallows cooking on whittled sticks.

Levi. God of Fire.

Those Peloza Kids = Best Kids In The World. Those are some proper nouns, in honor of all the homework we did this week.
