A busy October, and it's not even over yet. Better to break it up into two posts. Beginning with a trip to the motherland, aka Canada. A house by the lake for one night only. First ensure the flanks are covered against attack. Can't stop submarines, of course, but we do what we can.
With the threat of attack mitigated, we all enjoyed a good chew.
Lots going on with puggle this month, perhaps most importantly we adopted 5 new babies. Never saw this little so excited, and I'm pleased to announce that 3 weeks later he still brings them out to play on a daily basis.
Cooler weather brings with it evenings by the fire.
But mostly Fall is about taking it easy,
In non-pup news, those parents went to New York City for the weekend.
It turns out that I might love musicals. Long story short, it dawned on me that the reason they break into song in the middle of the story is because it makes the story better. Waiting for The Book of Mormon.
And this might have been the first in what is now a quad-annual (four times a year?) trip for trapeze.
Sunday morning walking around and then a late lunch outside, while the remnants of a dog costume parade walk by, was maybe the perfect NYC experience.
Back home the marching band season is wrapping up, below is a pic for the four years represented in the band. From The Depths being Levi's freshman year, big weekend coming up in Bowling Green for state championships. Where did four years go?
