A Busy Home Is A Happy Home

The fall is going by quickly, since times flies when you're having fun. I can't imagine how boring my life would be without these two kids. Shuttles begin just after 7am, and during the week they go until around 6:30 typically. On weekends, more like 5:30am to 11pm.

A typical early morning at the house.

We remember to take time to celebrate, this time with one of the special bottles from Harlan. Good, very good. Not sure worth being 3 times the highest retail price I've ever paid for a bottle of wine previously. Two more of these, we'll let them sit. Still waiting on the granddaddy version, which shows up in Spring 2023. For now we'll cope with this slop.

One of the big celebrations is this week this guy turned 14 years old.

We're gonna party like he's 90.

The ongoing band season continued, with the Bryan Station competition. Prepping at the school...

This week we brought the noise.

The preliminaries are over, so while I stayed to prep for the finals, some folks went out for some pizza and beer.

Maybe the cheer helped, but the show was incredible, even better than the first. And it showed. First in the preliminaries. In the finals, best music, best visual effect, best overall effect, first in category, first overall.

Eva, who bet against her brother's band coming in first, owns up to her debt and a welcome home sign.

The lesson here, folks, is never bet against those Peloza kids.
