Downtime

Down'-time. Noun. The space in between summer trips. Typically experienced with excessive heat and humidity. Nothing sounds exciting. 

Sitting in the backyard is about as good as it gets. No quick movements.

After a day or so of downtime, combined with COVID realities that limit one person the basement, the kids and I head to Bloomington, Indiana. Why Indiana, people might ask? Smart people. Why indeed. Not a fan of Indiana generally speaking. But is was sort of close, and decent pizza.

And corn. So much corn.

 

I found a hat by the pool which proves it.
