Campy

The first summer with almost no camps, is rounded third with a couple of camps. First, Levi is at band camp. One time... He didn't fully appreciate what he was getting into, but the 13 hour days the first week quickly gave way to only 10 hour days the following two weeks. He's so fresh on day one.

Eva is really hoping that the maturation process through Levi's camp will translate to his behavior at home.

For her part, Eva spent a week working on a show. Good times.

Cole started a series of acupuncture treatments. He was surprisingly calm for the time he was receiving the treatments, with a couple stretches where he seemed to breath more deeply than I've ever heard. I guess going between a little nervous but not really put forward an effort to escape, and just loving the feeling on his spine. Still, I was two pounds heavier in fur after that 15 minutes.

Punks, flouting the law.

The van continues to shine, like in a brochure. It's been a good chariot for the summer, and we've gotten to and from a lot of good family times in this guy. Including a birthday dinner for Eva at our local.

Somewhere in between, I went to Cleveland to see a concert and spent 30 minutes in the rock and roll hall of fame. Meh. But I did enjoy seeing Muddy Waters' suit and guitar.
