We begin the year, as we always do, coming off of celebrating dad's birthday. With a bevy of cards and four straight hours of Your Father's Music Program (and a new shirt to match!).
Through the storm, off to the hot chicken place down the road.
Snow dogs.
And sitting out by the fire like psychos when it's snowing and single digit temps. The beer had something to do with it.
More eating out. Versailles. Baked potato side, new year, new you and all that.
And again, Lexington style pizza. And Knitting.
And to our yuze, Sage Rabbit. Eva drew her hero.
And tackled the hoppy burger.
Levi voice: Hoppy burger; easy.
And back to Sage for Levi's birthday. Blowing out the candle after the whole place (us and three dudes at the next table) sang Happy Birthday. We also learned that the song itself was composed by two Kentuckians.
Not quite a meal, but there is always a trip to the snack bar at bowling. A new high score for Levi, 111.
Not related to food at all, but we bought more books. At a bookstore. With shelves and people working there.
Winter is for large northern breeds. No, not me. The pups. Here Calli tries to share her warmth with Cole. Smart.
Peek-a-boo.
I have no idea how that all got there.
Don't worry Cole, I got your back.
Now a few actions shots outside. Calli stalks Cole.
Everyone loves Cole.
Calli, don't worry, you could be a movie star too!
It's exhausting being this beautiful.
Finally, Eva's art continues to feature the snake with a top hat. She makes this stuff and then gives it away to family friends. Worth a fortune someday.
