Dinner and a Show

 As the song goes, it's a long December. Or not so much. Let's just say December.

The first thing to note is Eva has now graduated to wanting a steak when we go out to our favorite neighborhood place. And likely now any other place we go where steaks are sold. And good on her, she almost finished the whole thing.

Then off to another meal. Not dinner, but the title sounds better with just one meal. This time it was lunch with Levi, all the way in Louisville. Why not? As others have said, he is looking suddenly like a young man.

The big news of the month, though, is the aerial production of the Grinch. Many different performances from Eva, and costume changes to match. We'll have to wait for the professional production, but here are some highlights I was able to grab since technically we're not supposed to take pictures/video in the room. First the hula hoop dance.

 Finally, we had our first fire of the winter season.

 

At the time of posting, this dad is enjoying the holidays in Illinois, looking forward to a very special overnight to St. Louis tomorrow. No kids, but perhaps a picture or two of that Peloza's fabulous wife will appear soon.
