The Mice Will Play. When the Weather Gets Nice. Or They Go Outside. Or Something.

The bottom line is that Spring has arrived on our beautiful shores, and we are spending a lot of time outside.

Wait, what? Eva, what is the new style?

I had the honor, humbled and whatnot, of spending an evening with the most beautiful woman in the world at one of the most unique spots in the world. Lexington, Kentucky. You think sake, right? No brainer. And here we have one of the great Japanese drinking establishments outside of the prefectures of Japan. One of those warm nights when you just want to stand outside and drink sake.

After burning through, literally, about a cord of wood (I remember as a kid when we'd buy a cord of wood - one of all time greatest expressions of measurement), a large break. But here again, more fires.

Of course not everything was outside. Hugging dogs is best done indoors.

Not this one, though. Look at the mass of fur! Who knows where to grab?!

And yes, there was an instance of day drinking as the end of the semester came upon us.

Even the famed Morton band held their Spring show outside. Sure we couldn't heat the flutes, but it was a magnificent spectacle. Masks and all.

The next week we found out that our boy won a spot on the jazz band next year. Happy times.

Another visit from the neighbors to the Hoosiers. Those that live above the Show Me state. What does Illinois in the way of nicknames anyway? Good times, you guessed it, outside.

Beware of those bearing....puzzles! And whatever you do don't start one outside. On accounta the rain forecast overnight. But with many pitching in, we did this bad boy in under 4 hours. 1,000 pieces. That's what I call teamwork. I have many on my team. I recall the words from the Rex Kwon Do system. We use the buddy system, no more flying solo. I have a good team indeed.
