If March Was Madness, April is a Sanitorium

A short few weeks after working through 6 inches of ice under half a foot of snow (6 in one, half dozen the other) the weather turned nice. C'mon everybody it's time to get nice. So we grill.

Not happy with the slow pace of Lexington Spring, we find ourselves in south Florida. Because of reasons. Luckily we had the foresight to prioritize a pool versus proximity to a beach. So here are many, many pictures of people in and by a pool.

I wish I had more interesting things to write about for the trip, but apart from eating, the pool and backyard was kind of the point. I mean, OK, there was some sitting around separate from the pool.

Occasionally we were not by the pool. Like when we ordered a couple of these giant ice cream cookies. The only time Levi couldn't eat one entire cookie. He gave it good shot, though.

One other cool thing was a boat ride from our neighbor on the canal. Here we are about leave the canal we were on and get on to the main waterway.

Where we picked up some speed.

We're on a boat!

After we got back we went to Illinois and had a fire. S'up.
