The Longest February of the Year

February is almost gone. Special year, we got the extra day this year. So we packed in just a little bit extra this month, but with so many days there is again no particular theme.

Let's start with a beautiful dog.

Then move ahead with a beautiful girl. Visited school this month to give teach an extra half hour at lunch. One of the easiest bits of charity you can ever do, spending half an hour leading limbo with your daughter's class.

That girl got new glasses this month. Finally, she can see! She and I share something else in common.

One of the biggest events was the first fire of the year. Still way too cold for a fire, but couldn't wait to get to that all that new Illinois wood.

Eva made s'mores, and came out of the house with exactly four marshmellows, pieces of chocolate and sets of crackers. Four s'more and seven years ago...

Levi joined later, but had to settle for blueberries, That intertwined arm thing, where do kids in each subsequent generation learn this thing that I associated, when I was their age, of something from a by-gone generation?

Kids did sports. Aerials and basketball. That is all.

Dad also did his bowling thing. Rolled a 211 one night, and made the list of top handicap triples for the week!
