To Jah, Like a Bob Marley song, man.
This week was the greatest of all the weeks. Thanksgiving week. Some old traditions and some new one. The best new one was not heading down I-75 on Saturday afternoon. But it started off academically, on a busy last day before break for Eva. A social studies test with an incomplete study guide kept us busy. You'd like Levi, who does very well in the subject, would be the best resource given Eva forgot her textbook. Asking about colonies, etc. Levi could only say "I didn't know I would have to remember all this stuff..." OK.
On to the break. Eva has a show next door.
Of course, prepping for Colonial day Eva finds lots of old tyme fashions. And such a natural pose.
Cookie decorating. Or cookie eating? Who care...
Another old tradition is the puzzle, Another 1,000 pieces, another day well spent. Insert caption below picture.
The day of the big feast, dogs were lazy back across the road.
In between walks in the woods. So many walks in the woods.
And mule rides with cousins.
One of the new traditions this year was a trip for sub-par B&G at Waltrip's Corner. What a scene, man. The 2014 date might not be so impressive now, but check back into this space in 30 years. What a pair of pics that will be.
One of the other great new traditions this year was an all-day grilling affair on Thanksgiving Saturday. Spurred on by the lack of I-75 time perhaps. But a darn good time and a familiar view through the day.
We also took Cole's senior pictures this weekend. Such a distinguished gentleman. Just had the craziest thought of Cole wearing a graduation cap.
