Fall has somewhat fallen on to Kentucky, a little bit cooler. That didn't stop Eva from getting in a summer mood with her fun run prize. Whoever could have pledged all that money to get these shades? Reminds me of Malibu Jack's only, you know, for a worthy cause. Or wait, maybe she was going with the cooler temps based on being all, you know, cool with the glasses. Moving on.
Those Peloza parents did some stuff too. Dad went to a pirate costume party, and it turned out that Cracker was the entertainment.
Alexis just sits on the couch all the time with her princess.
Eva continues to amaze, picking up the flute like nobody's business (she can already nail hot cross buns, and I play along on the guitar!
And she's working up a routine on the silks. I hope she remembers, if she chooses this profession, to not wave to her dad in the middle of the show. Ok, this was just a practice day but I get that she would want to wave and I'll be photographing a lot.
She will also write prose in her spare time. Check this out, from the wall at Cassidy.
Moving to the cool fall air outside, we broke in a new fire pit. The kids used some piece of trash they found to make chimneys.
They are such good friends, they sit together even when they aren't sharing the same ipad. I keep saying I hope they never get tired of doing this...
Another interesting development was the procurement of Halloween costumes three weeks ahead of schedule. Nothing like 10 bucks (total) at Re-Kid to make a couple of kids' days.
