Biggest event of the last while a birthday for a certain gal. Below she enjoys a birthday morning game of monopoly. We spent quite a bit of time together on her special day, which was pretty perfect.
To celebrate right through the evening we endured the 80s temperature to have a backyard fire. Eva got to poke it almost without limit. The captions below: "Hey, what's up?" "Ha!"
In the days since travel, I have been enjoying life in a way that seems different from before this summer. My time features many more puzzles than it used, including the one below which might have been the most difficult one I've ever done. I actually dreamed of the pieces one night during the construction period. I figure if my mom can have a life that involves, among other things, poring over puzzles (and in my case, drinking tea) it's good enough for me.
But into every week, some bourbon and hairdos must fall. This one was a night out at friends' where we sipped bourbon and Eva eventually turned her sights to my hair. What a great night.
