Stuffs

The first day of the rest of our lives starts as one might expect. Eva opens her nail salon. The only nail salon in the world, perhaps, with Godspeed music.

Celebration is in the form of a campus visit for lunch. A picture with that cat, and Eva with a hat. I will wear my hat with the cat. Too bad there was no mat, upon which I would have sat.

For the first time this structure caught Eva's attention, with such gusto that she insisted we go there immediately to see it. It's a vertical likert scale to indicate happiness. Eva is 5.

Happy to have that be our day, the ante was upped the next day with a farm visit. Horse farm, that is. But it was as much about a certain dog at the farm that made the visit. Relentless with a dog toy. But we did find time to watch them train in the ring, and feed some hay to this beautiful black horse.

Levi was happily ensconced in camp doing STEMmy kind of stuff. Here he made the picture of the day for his VR work.

The weekend brings with it the kids from the neighborhood. And a sleepover slumber party.

Finally, to celebrate the opening of pool season in Kentucky we.... went to the pool. Being the opening of pool season, the kids didn't spend much time in the water itself, but instead put the water in weapons.

I call this one "yeah, you'd better run."

Finishing up like their Peloza dad, even just being around water brings out the appetite for snacks.

Then some sunning of the selves to relax. It's gonna be such a great summer.
