So we roll into Tallahassee. Like we own it. Because that's how we, you know, roll.
One's first instinct when it's 192 degrees with humidity is to jump in the pool. Levi appreciated the dip, showing his frog jumping pose.
Eva also got a lesson on the violin. Like her brother, she seems to have a natural gift for music. We'll see.
One thing that struck me when I watched Eva do all these amazing things like weekend, whether is was physical like banging out push ups or doing the splits, to a blend like the violin, or straight up genius like a few hours of math homework, was how much both kids have grown. Then an idea flew into my funnel. It was almost three years ago to the day (two days off) that we found ourselves in a Tallahassee hotel. Long time readers will know my fondness for corresponding pictures, so here is one we took this weekend with its twin from September 2014.
So the real highlight of trip was the pizza place, we regardless of what is wrapped around your ankle/leg, kids can be kids. Once again, we'll do the crank it up Fox NASCAR thing and let the pictures speak for themselves. With a chronology of the mess.
Ending on an old favorite, feeding the turtles with some of the leftover pizza.
Eva Peloza 2020. Make turtles great again!

Eva, on the other hand, takes what might be the saddest picture in the world. Even sadder than that cat in the Buenos Aires Independent Film Festival ad. A kid with a cast sitting on the edge of a pool while her brother splashes around in it. To be fair, Levi was a good sport when we both asked him to limit his time in the pool so we could all do stuff together.
Like push up competitions!
