Is It Fall Yet?

Back to school is here, and it's starting to feel like Fall. A great time of year for sure, a good time to curl up on the couch with a good book.

I remember in the early days with Alexis she told me she was at her place sitting on her couch. I thought it was just the coolest thing that she called it a couch, seems like a smaller town kind of thing. Versus sofa, which is a bit more uppity. And then there is chesterfield, forget about it, let alone the settee. Have a seat over there on the davenport. Like when Clark wants his car back in the movie. "Davenport! Davenport! Get Mr. Griswald's car back, now, bring it back here!" Weird they'd name a guy after a couch. But I digress.

Anyway, it's also cooler in the evenings and a great time to sit outside. The pups are looking forward to much cooler weather, but they'll take what they can get. Here Cole plays a trick on Calli. He tried to get her to lay her head down on the pavers, telling her it feels so good, and how much she'd love it. "Oh, I can't believe how great it feels to lay my head down on these pavers, I sure hope no other dog does it too." Then Calli does it, and Cole laughed so hard... So weird.
