The waiting game for Thanksgiving. Nothing to do but go to the park and enjoy the warm weather. And wait.
Thanksgiving day finally came. Special turkey, check. Sparkling wine, check. Pumpkin pie.... pumpkin pie? Hello? Who's making the pumpkin pie? Eva to the rescue!
We had our first Kentucky-Midwest Thanksgiving meal - the one that is served at around 1pm. What a great idea, eating the large meal earlier in the day so one can correct the problem throughout the day and regulate. And go to a different park to work it off.
So Thanksgiving "dinner," then, consisted of a various stream of small snacks at the kitchen counter. Calli, the eternal optimist.
And going into the third football game of the day, hanging out with the fam. Levi is developing a great appreciation for what he has in life, which I love. He scored the highlight of the day, before the meal, when he said he was thankful that the turkey had a good life. Give someone a hug and a kiss, don't take them for granted. Be thankful.
