Fall Routine

Settling into a fall routine involves mucho visits with those Peloza kids in Florida.

Hey, guess what? Levi is in something called karate. Tae kwon do's flashy cousin. Levi still knows.

Saturday came with typical Tallahassee. Rain. And more rain. Then clearing. College football was the plan, over to Steve's for a party later in the day. Eva gave up and discovered Candy Crush Soda.

Sunday brought perfect weather and a reason to be outside. Off to the Tallahassee Museum. It was supposed to just be a picnic, a walk around to look at the animals, and a bit of swing time.

Before I could ask Eva if she was sure (after saying yes to the zip line), we were at the harness house getting both kids kitted out.

Levi took off ahead, being a pro at zip line. I stayed behind to make sure Eva got it, which is why all these pics are of Eva and not Levi (sorry, son!).

When I think back to Eva before the summer - couldn't swim without a lifejacket and was afraid to try, would never walk on a tightrope and carefully pick her way over steps 12 feet above the ground. Now look at her.

When Levi first went on it the guy said he picked it up about as quickly as he'd ever seen a kid pick it up. And Eva seemed every bit as quick with her zip line discipline. I think everything might just turn out great.
