The Best Day

The day was a long one, but maybe the best one of the year. After a long trip through three states, the kids and I decided to stop over for the night at what might become "our" hotel for the night before heading into Lexington.

First, a dip in the pool. They are such good swimmers now.

Then a great trip to the supermarket just across I-75, loading up with drinks for all of us, fried chicken, free cookies AND cupcakes, popcorn, grapes, oh my. But dinner in a small hotel room is not great, especially when the inflatable pool ball is in the room.

 

So Eva has this thing where she grabs the pen and pretends it's a microphone, complete with pointing at the camera and introducing Levi doing his jump rope routine (14 in a row is the record tonight!).

I love these Peloza kids.
