Kentucky Day

So the first day in Kentucky was kind of boring. Up at 7, feed the dogs, run with Cole, off the buy a Wii, off to lunch then the Kentucky Bluegrass Train, then back to set up and play with the Wii... not a big deal.

Let's start with some posed pictures of Levi on an engine. Ok, so it's huge.

So then what, a lot of train pictures. Here's Eva looking out the window, Alexis peering around the bend.

So what does Eva do? Turn around and take a picture of Alexis.

So what does dad do? Turn around and take a picture of Eva.

So what does Eva do? Turn around and show Alexis something interesting out the side of the train.

Then she ponders whether or not that was the right move.

So then Levi just chills for a couple selfies with dad.

Then looks pensively out the side of the train car and imagines all the farms that once were before the federal government got involved (you had to be there).

Then he figures, federal regulation has, overall, produced a net benefit to society.

Then, the gravity of the situation sets in on Levi. States' autonomy alongside federal government. How can it be? What will come of the union?! This is tiring.

Eva, on the other hand, being less politically inclined, finds the water park for tomorrow's fun!

But just as a good political debate, so too can the promise of a pirate ship water park slide, wear one out.

Later, back at the house, we figured out the Wii. Princess Peach rides again!

Levi tries to lend some expert opinion to the matter.

And we're done...
