In Town

The day started off as usual, 5:30 wake up call from the dogs, the next 60 minutes spent trying to get back to sleep, and the next 60 after that spent trying to wake up because the day is starting. One of the many great things about those Peloza kids is their ability to motivate you out of bed. So our day starts, with Eva hiding behind her cereal. Levi, who had already eaten, was downstairs trying to get in some Wii time before the day got going.

We spent the day today, as Levi calls it, "in town." The feature was a visit to the Explorium, not just in town but downtown. The mock bank counter was one of the highlights, they both have an affinity for cash. Levi, in particular, has a certain Mr Drysdale way about him.

Eva joined right in, happy to take cash deposits.

The kids were able to get in a bit of rock climbing, and met a furry new friend.

Levi bailed a bit early, Eva confidently got down all by herself. Like the guy from Seinfeld, step off George!

In Kentucky for four days and no horses yet?

Eva, in her search for a marketable product to launch her entrepreneurial career, found a method by which kids can grow two feet in five seconds.

Here Eva prepares for her future career as a nutritionist. Or a waitress. Or a farmer. Or a mom. Or all of the above.

Finally, Levi went to the moon and back again.
