September brings with it marching band season. This year with a twist, Levi playing the show from the sideline. That's what four weeks off from a collapsed lung with do to a guy. But still pitching in for that music and general effect category.
In other news that Peloza dad stopped being a big shot this month, walking away from Associate Dean roles. A big smile and the good time shirt say it all.
But I will always be the brightest star in the sky to this little guy here.
Constant companion, unless someone else has food. Or a car goes by.
Scanning the shadows on the opposite wall to tell when something is coming, he doesn't even need to be facing the street anymore.
New spot on the outdoor couch.
Now in the evenings, I must confess, I look forward to nesting with our little Kentucky brown dog. He's a smasher, but it's maybe the best feeling in the world to feel the love of a dog while slowly waking up. Or sometimes not waking up at all, just spooning in the early morning light.
