Those Peloza Kids: The Lost Tapes

You'd think I lost the tapes, it's been so long since the last update. Realizing that the holiday season is upon us and I'll have at least 4 pictures through the next week, I should post what's been going on over the past couple of months.

First, marching band season happened. The final practice of the season, creation by Eva.

State semi-finals. Timed the drive to E-town perfectly, 2 hours one-way for 9 minutes.

With the rest of the day ahead of us, three of us head to Louisville for a late lunch. Passed 500 away from the stadium where finals would take place, but that's not for another 8 hours.... Let's go get some lunch and watch dad unintentionally eat a fly. Here's the reaction.

Recording the end of season through the eyes of the band, first the alumni tour at Morton which took place the day before finals this year.

And this year, a yard sign.

And a shot after the finals performance in Louisville. Just me this time. After lunch we antiqued and then drop the girls back in Lexington. Had a lie down and then back for the final show.

Eva gave the best performance of her life, IMO, at the December showcase. The pictures don't fully capture it, partly because the surprise musical accompaniment made it extra special. Heaven can wait, we're only watching the skies.

The honorary Peloza big kid, Justice, along with Judith took in their first American football game.

Along the way, there's Rubble.

 Hey, this dog needs help!

Dad, dad, can we help this guy? Please?

Halloween came. Doesn't Halloween have an apostrophe? Like Hawaii? Spell check says no.

In automotive news...

For the Napolean Dynamite reference earlier (it was cryptic, but real fans know), a dream we never we knew we had until we lived it. Watching Napolean Dynamite at the Burl Brew.

And some days later, we'd be back for lunch and game time.

For Thanksgiving, our annual trip to Illinois. More snuggle buggin'

As usual, the fire and those who hover around it, were the stars.

One more road trip, with a birthday as a bonus, was back to Canada. To kick off the big day dad took the kids to, you guessed it, a bar.

Then the big dinner event. What would say if you've lived on this earth for 91 years?

Over in entertainment news, hey hey!
