There was a song from the 80s that had a line, a guy yelling 'brothers and sisters!' Might have been pump up the volume. But that's not the point of this post, although there will be an 80s bookend reference at the end of it.
First, Levi is now past his probationary black belt, to just plain old black belt. Apparently with his name on it. Moved up to the tougher board after reaching aged 10, had to take a couple tries to get all the moves down, but he centered himself and cracked it good.
Then he gets added to an impromptu weekend in Georgia to go to Wild Adventures with me an Eva. And we somehow found this mini-mansion in Valdosta as our home base. Big open space for Eva to practice her dance, gymnastics and contortion. Looking good on this move.
One of those big 'ol sourthern porches with a swing. If it were an HGTV I would say I could see myself sitting out here having coffee in the mornings, or wine in the evenings. And I did both!
Good old Publix was the home base for snacks, drinks and most meals. When she got me a drink at the house Eva, when Levi asked why she was doing it, said "Dad is my king."
Some great parks a block away. Eva could swing all day, and it's so much more fun to have someone to race with.
And the usual take-your-picture-with-a-goat stop. No chickens this time around.
This looks like a bit of a torture rack for kids, but once they got flying around both kids did manage to smile.
A big win came on the flying thingy like we did in New Jersey a couple years ago. Two-seaters so Levi was happy to sit on the ground and watch me and Eva. Look at this face.
We tried to feed the birds but they just weren't hungry this time. But these two were making out, oblivious to the fact that we were standing right there. Eva said they reminded her of me and Alexis. Yeah they do.
The true big win of the visit was the Swamp Thing. Where Eva truly discovered her inner rollercoaster.
Ferris wheel fun.
Here is the Monkey Around. I told them flat out, no spinning for dad this time. I'm pretty sure this was the ride that knocked me out for 20 minutes on the last visit.
More spinning with Levi.
Nice thing about an urban house is the ability to walk two blocks to dinner. Not sure what these faces are all about, but we were reminded of walking to dinner from the Branch Street house.
Waking up in the morning to the warm glow of ipads...
And here we finish the trip at Momo's. Eva shows her love for her brother, albeit somewhat tight lipped, she moves in for a kiss. At one point Temptation by New Order was followed by Dancing Horses by Echo and the Bunnymen. Memories of a concert in 1987 with both of them. Then an old Clash song and memories of a house party in grade 10. Sure, I predicted all of this way back then.

The backyard has excellent grass for some music.

Then the big day arrived, Wild Adventures. It was by far the best visit to the park so far, mainly because Eva is now fully engaged in the theme park experience, and a bit of a rollercoaster beast. One of the big difference is she is now to go on a lot of the rides. Check out this weekend compared to October 2014.
