Florida and Beyond

With so much travel recently I've had to do some mixing and matching, much like Napoleon when he had to get the 12 pack instead of the 24 pack. Anyway, we all went to Florida and made pizza. Well, we did some other stuff too but making pizza was the highlight. Two different kids, two different pizza techniques. Eva is more precise and prefers to sit and make a more nuanced dough. Well, as nuanced as one can get when one uses one's elbow to shape dough.

Levi prefers to a more liberated pie and toss it around and stand to get lots of space.

 Then the reward!

Upon our return, those parents went out for Chinese food. In China.

 

Did a little bit of work along the way, and dealt with jet lag. Started in the spartan, authentic hotel near the university. Finished up there and checked into the Waldorf. Yeah, that Waldorf. Big change in sleeping going from the hardest mattress on the planet to maybe the best hotel in all of Beijing. Thanks Fitbit for backing me up on this one.

If anyone is looking for any gift ideas for my birthday this year, you might think about a high tech toilet. I'm spoiled now.
