And back.
But first, Moon Tower. The music festival with perhaps the worst name, and for sure the worst font, in the history of music festivals. But it's in Lexington, and for our purposes has Trombone Shorty and Drive-By Truckers. So off we go to the park and set up the folding chairs.
Then realize (well, sort of, I had this idea long before showing up) it's the first music festival with Levi. Which is a pretty cool thing. First, it's playing with gum from the Mexican place ahead of the show.
Then it's a game of footsie, through folding chairs, with our friends.
Then, on the way to the water station, we realize that it's maybe the best sunset in the history of sunsets. Best of all, Levi asked to hold up the sun in his hand. It was amazing.
Later, walking around the grounds with Levi picking up skipping stones and talking about life with Levi I got the sense again of how I will never forget this night with our son.
