In anticipation of the team getting back together, we go for Japanese food. Levi is so proud of what is a new record of 10 gyoza (plus miso soup!), he can't hide his primal boy instincts.
After fetching Eva and about an hour of pizza and pleasantries, we retire to the basement. It's a favorite summer time hideout, what being about 20 degrees cooler and all. Movie time! Paying homage to the old competitor on Margaret Avenue in Wallaceburg. This is true happiness, one perfect wife, two perfect kids, two perfect dogs. Watching THE movie for vegetarians, Charlotte's Web.
But alas, we can't spend the entire summer in the basement. Well, we can. Except for buying groceries. But we won't. So in the heat of the day we venture out to Woodland Pool (after buying Eva her new suit earlier in the day, along with super-duper sonic toothbrushes for those Peloza kids). First Levi wants in on Eva's pose, but then realizes he's more a back-office kind of guy. I see a future where Levi is holding the towel for her Olympic gymnast sister after she comes off her gold winning performance.
A diving board? What?!
