Frozen FLA

The plan was to have a lazy cold day. The high never broke 46 degrees, my goodness. Shopping uncovered an amazing deal on some light sabers, we had an epic battle after breakfast. Good luck figuring out the logistics of this shot.

The only plan was a birthday party with Eva's friend. It was supposed to be a thing for Eva and Levi and I would bow out for a couple hours and grab lunch with some bro time. But Levi asked if he could stay. I thought it was about building the robots, but read on...

The kids all gathered for their robot crafting circle...

Levi, our little engineer, seemed disinterested by the decided lack of challenge.

Then best buds shared a chair and some cake.

After about an hour I suspect the true reason for staying emerged. A baseball and glove, and a request for practice in the front yard. Within 60 minutes Levi went from unable to catch a ball, to catching virtually everything I threw (literally) at him. Long time readers know my fondness of a bunch of shots kind of showing the same thing but these are too good.

Geez, after proclaiming amazement at how far Eva will go in life, I'm reminded that Levi takes a backseat to nobody. Except me when we're driving, because, you know, he's safer in the back seat. Stop reading so literally!
