The Week That Was

More routine this week. Centered around some camp fun. Day one, after greeting the kids Levi promptly sits to finish his hole punching. Check out the easy focus.

Tuesday brings more bugs. A Madagascar hissing cockroach, to be precise. I didn't test this, but they apparently tickle when they walk on your skin.

Squeeze in some TKD practice. With a new T-shirt Levi feels a little more free to express himself with the eee-yahs. Original and close up crop version.

Another day, another camp activity. Flying stuff off the top stairs.

One of the other lynch pin events of the week is date night between genders. Eva and dad go shoe shopping and out for pizza. Now shoe shopping has been a long time coming, and wouldn't you know it after only the second store we found the perfect pair. Her first pair of real high heel shoes.

Still can't figure out the best way to play Uno is to not show your cards, even itty bitty ones, to your opponent.

I could tell Eva was very much into the date night because she was quick to order dessert when it was offered. Which is rare. She usually doesn't like sweet things. Ummm. A before and after picture to document the damage.

Levi and Alexis did the perfect boy date. Sliding down slides and picking up a frozen pizza to take home and bake.

Thursday, and time for the daily camp pictures. Learning how to build a stick bug.

Eva just can't get enough of those hissing cockroaches, and wants a group photo with one of them. You know how girly girls in dresses are with their cockroaches. Presently taking bets on how long the ability to hold a giant roach in her hand will last.

Friday was rained out, so to speak. Movie night in the park was rained out, even though tonight was the rain date for the last time it was rained out. Spent the day after camp figuring out how to get three Steve's into the same Minecraft world (done), and then out for a mexi-meal.

Tickling fits start slow...

... but they move quickly. Ha!

And that's that.
