How Many Days?

I checked the calendar. It was still only a two-day weekend. And although every day with those Peloza kids seems to bring in a bunch of new firsts and memories, this weekend seemed to pack them in like sardines.

Let's start with the obvious. Mario. But this time, Super Mario Bros! Levi mastered the first couple worlds, Eva was a good coach (and hit the black remote to try and kill me and Levi in the game!).

The first night was actually spent entirely inside. The fashion show was the big deal. Levi joined in briefly for a bit of a dip (like his dad).

But it was all Eva. Many costume changes (the show went on for hours, and actually spread over two days).

She had this great thing where she would ask me to say to the pretend person sitting next to me:  "That's my lady. She's really good." And then she'd give me a thumbs up or make that two finger eye thing to me from the stage. Then some breaks while the other ladies were on stage. Below she mimics the flying squirrel look from Super Mario Bros (while at the same time showing support for the UK game against ND).

Before that game, however, Eva found the true joy in the stickers from her Hello Kitty book. Sticking them on dad's face.

Saturday, apart from, the fashion, is pictorally weak. But some good Fun Station, some throwing of the football (Levi is actually a very, very good quarterback), and basically hanging out. The evening was spent grilling the most amazing steak at the BBQ out by the pool.

Sunday started out kind of basic. Featuring a trip to the Tallahassee Museum, which looked like it would be cut short after only 20 minutes from Levi's sliver. But we got it out with some tweezers (brave little guy), and we went back in. Next thing you know, Levi's getting suited up for zip line.

Here he suits up. During the training, the guy said he's never seen a kid take to the process and learn so quickly.

Eva didn't zip line, but loves the playground and swings.

But one scene in particular grabbed my attention, when Eva was on the playground climbing the stairs. It was the same spot, almost about 16 months earlier, that Eva first found was is now world famous self-confidence (long time readers may remember the first picture).

Between this and full-on zip-lining, how those Peloza kids have grown.
